Everything you need to know about paying benefits from an SMSF

Paying a benefit from an SMSF is made all the easier because the trustees of the fund hold the purse strings, but with the ease of payment comes the complexity of release considerations and the risk of illegal early access.


In this webinar, Tim Miller from Smarter SMSF will be taking a deep dive into the various conditions of release as they apply to SMSF members and for decision making purposes SMSF trustees. Amongst the things to be discussed will be conditions of release with a cashing restriction versus those without, who can validate a condition of release and what documentation may be required to justify the decision. Tim will also look at the potential ramifications of illegal early access.
