What's New in January 2025

Action buttons:

“I want to…” button.

This replaces the previous “Add Fund” and “Create Task” buttons in the headline navigation bar. This makes common actions accessible from any page in Hive, including:

Setup a New SMSF: Direct link to the New SMSF establishment form for advisers to pre-fill on behalf of their clients.

Transfer an Existing SMSF: Direct link to the Transfer and Existing SMSF application form for advisers to pre-fill on behalf of their clients.

Share a Document: Enables simple and secure sharing of documents for a particular SMSF. This streamlines the document upload process by automatically creating a task and assigning it to user, who can then upload documents, provide comments and reassign the task to
the intended recipient.

Create a Task: Allows users to create a new task for action.

Task buttons:

Outstanding monthly and year end tasks can now be accessed from the Home page. These buttons will direct users to the workflow screen for a detailed list of tasks.

Workflow updates:

The total number of outstanding tasks assigned to the user is now highlighted and will navigate to the list of outstanding tasks when clicked.

The task status pie chart has been removed.

A column for prior periods has been added to the progress table to highlight outstanding tasks from prior year and provide quick access to those tasks.

“Tasks for Action” has been added as a column header in the progress table for clarity. This column now includes a total number of tasks outstanding for current and prior periods on a fund-by-fund basis. Clicking will now navigate to a list of outstanding tasks for all periods.

The most recent reconciliation date is shown below the fund name to highlight how up-to-date the information is for that fund.

Updated terminology:

Text changes have been made to make navigation more intuitive.

Changed “Client View” to “Switch to Client View”.

Changed “Perm Docs” to “Documents”.

Task enhancements for advisers:

Advisers can now action individual tasks directly from the notification email without logging in to Hive. For security, advisers can upload documents but cannot view them without logging in.

Buttons have been added within individual tasks, so advisers can easily assign the task to a colleague, client, or third party or notify SuperGuardian that “I’m Done” to automatically assign the task back to their SuperGuardian Client Manager.
