Reviewing your SMSF contribution strategies

With confirmation that both the concessional, non-concessional and general transfer balance cap are all being indexed from 1 July 2026 and in light of the likely introduction of Division 296, now is a good time to start reviewing your client’s contribution strategies. Cap increases, including the CGT contribution cap, present numerous opportunities but it’s important to have an appreciation for how the various strategies work and what compliance and recording keeping obligations come with them.

In this webinar, Tim Miller from Smarter SMSF will run through a catalogue of contribution strategies and highlight the key considerations for each including, but not limited to, qualification criteria, notice/election requirements as well as any other factors that you need to be aware of.
