What will it mean for my clients?

Any new clients who you refer to SuperGuardian will engage with SuperGuardian via this online form, where they will be asked to provide information, including:

o The name (or preferred name) of their SMSF
o Personal details for each member (names, addresses etc including Tax File Numbers)
o Identification for each member (Driver’s License, Passport etc)
o The name of the Corporate Trustee (if applicable) and Director Identification Numbers for each Director

Can I complete the application process for my clients?
Yes, we have applications available through our website (https://www.superguardian.com.au/lets-get-started/) which are specifically designed for you to complete on behalf of your clients. Once you commence the form, you will need to provide your details as the ‘primary applicant’ before proceeding to provide client details. Where you provide all of the required information on behalf of your clients, they will receive an email with a secure link to review the information provided, agree to SuperGuardian’s terms and conditions and consent for us to arrange the necessary compliance checks.

Can I still submit a paper-based application form?
If your client would prefer to sign a paper form, this is possible through LAB, please just select the ‘print, sign and post’ option when you commence the online form. Once you have provided the necessary information, you will be able to print the form, which can then be posted or scanned to us once the client has signed.
