Webinar – SMSFs post the Federal Budget

Following the delivery of the Federal Budget for 2023/24 on Tuesday 9th May 2023 the SMSF industry will turn its attention to what announcements within the Budget will impact our sector and what previously announced changes need to be given the greatest attention in the shortest timeframes.

In this webinar we will discuss any and all items that directly impact SMSFs that are announced in the Federal Budget.  Further we will use this session to address the impact of indexation on a number of thresholds and what that means strategically for your clients, we will also review the definition of an Australian Superannuation Fund as that is a matter that has been around since the dawn of SMSFs and continues to create uncertainty with regards to the management and taxation of an SMSF.

Leaning Outcomes:

At the end of this webinar, participants will have an appreciation for:

  • Key Federal Budget announcements as they impact SMSFs
  • The impact of indexation on numerous superannuation thresholds
